Sausage making

Boerewors is a traditional South African (lightly spiced) sausage great for barbecuing. After marinated the diced meat in spices and vinegar, we ground together good quality beef steak, pork meat and fat and stuffed the meat into the casings with a special stuffing implement. After a couple hours of labour we relaxed on the balcony while the freshly made sausage sizzle on the bbq.
